SynergyPix ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at synergypix.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Usage data. When you use the free tier without an account, we record your IP address and the date of each conversion solely to enforce the daily conversion limit. This record is not linked to any personal identity.
Account and payment data. If you purchase a Power User or Pro plan, Stripe processes your payment. We receive only a session token and your subscription status from Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or full billing details on our servers.
Uploaded images. Images you upload are processed in your browser using client-side JavaScript. They are not transmitted to or stored on our servers unless you are on the Pro plan, in which case the image is sent to the VectoSolve API for processing and is not retained after the conversion is complete.
Log data. Our web server may automatically record standard log data such as your browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is used for security monitoring and aggregate analytics only.
Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized data about how visitors use the Service. This includes pages visited, session duration, device type, and general geographic region. IP addresses are anonymized before processing. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish users. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To enforce the free-tier daily conversion limit by IP address.
- To verify your subscription status and provide access to paid features.
- To process Pro-tier conversions via the VectoSolve API.
- To monitor service health and investigate abuse.
- To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the Service through anonymized analytics.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
We use a session cookie (sp_token) to maintain your login state if you have a paid account. Free-tier users have their daily conversion count stored in browser localStorage as a fallback when the backend is unreachable.
We also use Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to collect anonymized usage data as described in Section 1. These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information. No advertising or retargeting cookies are used.
4. Third-Party Services
Stripe. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
VectoSolve. Pro-tier conversions are processed by the VectoSolve API. Images submitted for Pro conversion are transmitted to VectoSolve and are subject to their data handling practices.
Google Analytics. Anonymized usage data is collected via Google Analytics 4. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. You may opt out at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Data Retention
IP-based conversion records are retained for 30 days and then deleted. Paid user account records are retained for the duration of the subscription and for up to 90 days after cancellation for billing dispute purposes. Google Analytics data is retained per the default Google Analytics retention settings.
6. Security
We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Access to our database is restricted to authenticated server processes. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
